Within the framework of the Water Support Programme, the Netherlands Embassy, Addis Ababa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) are organising a hybrid Ethiopia Water Sector Investment Workshop on 25 October 2021, starting at 13:30h in the Fletcher Hotel in Leidschendam.
The aim of the workshop is to provide insight into the investment climate, opportunities and limitations for the Dutch water sector to invest and seek cooperation with local stakeholders in Ethiopia. The workshop will offer contributions from the Netherlands embassy, Atradius Dutch State Business (DSB) and Invest International (a new organisation bringing together expertise, tools and guidelines from RVO and the Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO)). The workshop will also feature experience stories from Dutch water sector organisations themselves. While the target audience for his workshop is the private (water) sector, it is open to all.
The workshop will be held in a hybrid fashion, which means you will be able to register for physical attendance or digital attendance. In case the registrations for physical attendance exceed the venue limitations (max. 30 people), we might ask some participants to join us online instead. It is foreseen that we request interested firms to have one person attend to the physical workshop.
Covid-19 measures as of then will apply. The venue might require a proof of vaccination or negative test upon entry by the time of the event.
