In 2020, Kazakhstan will launch three tenders for the construction and renovation of 53 waste water treatment plants. The Government of Kazakhstan has shown great interest in Dutch technology and integrated solutions that include allied industries such as agriculture, energy and tourism.
With this in mind, NWP has invited representatives of the Kazakhstan Centre for Modernisation and Development of Housing and Utilities to present the projects during an information session on 19 December and to answer any questions. The tenders will total approximately EUR 760 million for 15 year contracts covering the design, building, operational, maintenance and management phases.
Aim and target group
The objective of the session is to inform the Dutch water sector about these tender opportunity and to inspire the Kazach delegation with Dutch technology. Also, we hope that, in discussion with the delegation, we can encourage a high level of technological requirements in the upcoming tenders. This information session is aimed at Dutch companies in water technology, engineering, construction, design and management sectors.
