Networking & matchmaking with Abu Dhabi's TRANSCO
From 2 until 6 September 2019, a delegation from TRANSCO will visit the Netherlands. On 5 September a networking & matchmaking event will be held at the NWP offices.

On TRANSCO
Within the Abu Dhabi Emirate in the UAE, TRANSCO is responsible for the whole power and water transmission system. TRANSCO also plays a pivotal role in the strategic water infrastructure and reservoirs of the country.
Purpose of TRANSCO’s visit to the Netherlands is to learn about the water transmission network in the Netherlands, with an in-depth focus on how the water transmission system is designed, operated and managed. In this context they would like to focus on benchmarking and learn about the Dutch best practices in managing water transmission systems nationally.
Focus areas
TRANSCO is interested to work together with Dutch water sector organisations on the following topics:
• Asset management policies and procedures
• Water transmission planning and optimising activities
• Asset Performance indexes and policies
• Asset Rehabilitation policies
• Water transmission network operations in terms of monitoring and control
Therefore a networking session is organised by NWP, together with the NL Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Do you have the right expertise and are you interested in working in the water sector in the Gulf?
