Online consultation on water & critical raw materials
Growing demand for critical raw materials is creating new opportunities for the Dutch water sector. Mining and processing companies are seeking responsible, resource-efficient and sustainable approaches, creating demand for expertise in water efficiency, water treatment, reuse, monitoring, modelling and resource recovery. To explore these opportunities, NWP is establishing a Water & Critical Raw Materials working group. The group will bring together Dutch water organisations, knowledge institutes, the diplomatic network and other partners to identify where Dutch expertise can add value and to develop a stronger joint proposition towards the critical raw materials industry.
As a first step, NWP will hold an online consultation meeting on 22 October to validate the findings, identify priority markets and partners, and brainstorm on joint international activities.
