IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition
From 4 to 8 October 2026, the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition will take place in Glasgow, United Kingdom. This leading global event brings together water professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world to exchange knowledge and explore innovative solutions for water challenges.
Following successful participation at previous editions, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) intends to organise a Netherlands Pavilion at the 2026 edition, subject to approval of a subsidy request.

Water action – the path to resilience and prosperity
The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is a significant gathering in the global water sector. Organised by the International Water Association (IWA), it brings together more than 3,000 water professionals, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the world to address challenges spanning the full water cycle – from source to sea.
The event combines a comprehensive technical programme, including presentations, workshops and posters, combined with an international trade exhibition. This offers participants the opportunity to engage with the latest knowledge, innovations, and sector developments while making meaningful professional connections. For Dutch organisations, the IWA WWCE represents a valuable platform to strengthen their international positioning and contribute to global conversations on water.
NWP has a long-standing presence at this event and, subject to subsidy approval, intends to facilitate the Netherlands Pavilion to enable joint participation of Dutch water sector organisations.
