Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC)

NABC believes that the Dutch private sector has a vital role to play in Africa’s sustainable development. Its purpose is therefore to inspire and connect businesses with opportunities across the continent, enabling them to make confident decisions about when, where and how to do business in Africa.

Today, NABC leads a diverse and engaged network of nearly 200 members, with access to a wider community of more than 10,000 African and European businesses, institutions and government organisations. For more than 80 years, NABC has organised countless trade missions and business-to-business events, always driven by the same confidence in the potential of African business.

Strengthening Dutch-African collaboration through water and business

NWP and the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC) have joined forces to strengthen sustainable business and collaboration between the Netherlands and Africa. The partnership brings together NWP’s water sector network and expertise with NABC’s strong business networks, market knowledge and relationships across African countries. Together, the organisations will identify market opportunities, build local partnerships and connect water solutions with sectors such as agriculture and food, energy and industry. The collaboration will also support consortium development, knowledge exchange and access to relevant financing opportunities. By combining their complementary networks and expertise, NWP and NABC aim to create long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable economic development and locally driven solutions.
