The Cairo Water Week (CWW) 2019 will take place from 20 to 24 October, and will focus on the theme ‘Responding to Water Scarcity’. The event offers an opportunity for worldwide academics, scholars, policy makers and water resources experts to discuss key issues, plans and actions related to responding to water scarcity challenges.
The Netherlands and Egypt have a long history of cooperation on water, with the active involvement of governments, the private sector, knowledge institutions and NGOs. There will be an Egypt-The Netherlands Expert Panel on Water and several Dutch speakers will contribute to the conference programme. The CWW and accompanying Expo offer a great opportunity for the Dutch water sector to collectively present itself. NWP is now looking into which Dutch parties are interested in participating in a Dutch pavilion.
If you are interested in participating in the Dutch Pavilion during the CWW, then please contact Sabrina Kraaijenbrink-Doetjes, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Daniël van Dijk email@example.com. More information on the Cairo Water Week can be found here.
