Call Strategic 100 Infrastructure Projects in Eurasia

In collaboration with the Netherlands International Water Ambition (NIWA), NWP aims to give an international impulse to infrastructure projects in the field of climate adaptation and water. This fall, CG/LA Infrastructure will release a 2019 Report on Strategic 100 Infrastructure Projects in Eurasia. We want to make sure that projects in the Netherlands or Dutch projects abroad are highlighted in the report and encourage you to submit upcoming projects in the Eurasia region.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for projects both in the Netherlands and abroad in the water sector such as

Climate adaptation projects
Wastewater treatment plants
Water supply projects
Building with nature projects
Sewerage networks
Utility optimization
Waste to energy projects
Desalination plants
Water reclamation

… or any other infrastructure project that has a large element of construction to it.

In particular, we are looking for projects in excess of $100 (‎€80) million Capex that are currently in the planning phase or reached financial close yet are still pre-construction. As such, there is a focus on projects that will generate business opportunities for technology suppliers, (sub-)contractors, etc. in the next 3 – 24 months.

Leadership Forum Malaga

Finally, the projects will not only be featured in the report, they will also be showcased at the Eurasia Strategic Infrastructure Leadership Forum in Malaga, Spain, between 11 and 13 December 2019.

For this event, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), NIWA and NWP have joined forces with CG/LA Infrastructure to promote selected projects in the Eurasia Region. The forum allows governments, the private sector and investors to meet and learn about new business opportunities. A preparatory side event will be organised during the Amsterdam International Water Week (3-6 November 2019).
