Following the successful missions organised in previous years, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Oman, intend to organise another trade mission in 2025. The programme consists of representation of the Dutch companies and organisations in the Netherlands Pavilion at Oman Water Week, in combination with speaking engagements for the participating companies, networking activities and collective matchmaking.
NWP and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Oman are working closely together to realise the mission programme.
Oman Water Week (OWW) is organised under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Wealth, and Water Resources. The event is hosted by national water company Nama Water Services, and offers participants insightful knowledge about the strategy on water in the coming years for Oman. OWW also promises attendees a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge advancements, best practices, and transformative strategies, propelling water management to new heights. With an engaging programme encompassing keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, technical demonstrations and networking opportunities, attendees will acquire invaluable insights into emerging trends, technological innovations, and policy frameworks that are shaping the realm of water sustainability.
Oman Water Week offers a unique opportunity for cross-sectoral engagement, bringing together a diverse array of experts, researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and practitioners from all related sectors and industries. This convergence of expert minds fosters interdisciplinary dialogue, encourages knowledge exchange, and catalyses innovative solutions to address the complex challenges posed by water scarcity, and climate change.

Oman Water Week is a conference driven event, drawing some 1600 attendees. The conference features technical sessions on Municipal water and Produced & Industrial water. As participant in the trade mission programme, you are invited to speak at one or more of the technical sessions. As the organisers are finalising the conference programme in December, let us know as soon as possible if you’re interested in a speaking slot. Deadline is 15 December 2024.
The participation package includes collective stand design and stand construction of the Netherlands Pavilion, as well as on-site stand management support.
The cost for travel and stay, local transport, and OWW site visits are at your own expense.
