In the framework of the Partners for Water programme, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is hosting an online sector meeting on cooperation between the Dutch and Bangladeshi water and agriculture sectors. This meeting is organised in collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka, the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
As an introduction for the plenary dialogue, the First Secretary of Water, Mr. Folkert de Jager, and the Netherlands Delegated Representative of Water, Mr. Martijn van de Groep, both from the Netherlands Embassy in Dhaka, will present an overview of their 'first 100 days' experiences in Bangladesh. They will also update participants on the impact of the corona crisis in Bangladesh and a broad outlook of activities to be conducted in Bangladesh in 2020-2021.
The session will be chaired by Delta Coordinator for Bangladesh, Aart van der Horst, and the opening of the meeting will be in the presence of the Dutch Ambassador in Bangladesh, Harry Verweij.

Organisations interested in sharing their activities and/or interests in Bangladesh with the platform participants will be able to present a 3-minute pitch during the online meeting. However, due to the time limit, the possibility to pitch will be granted to participants based on a first-come-first-serve basis.
