From 26-28 January 2026, IFAT will take place in Saudi Arabia for the first time.
To promote Dutch water expertise in this promising market, the Netherlands Water Partnership collaborates with Holland Circular Hotspot and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Saudi Arabia for the organisation of the Netherlands Pavilion. Supported by Ministery of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), and aligned with the ambitions of Vision 2030, IFAT Saudi Arabia will showcase breakthrough solutions in waste management, recycling, waste-to-energy, water treatment, desalination, digitalisation and more.
This year, fourteen leading Dutch organisations will present their innovative solutions in water and solid waste management at IFAT Saudi 2026. The Netherlands Pavilion will showcase Dutch expertise and serve as a meeting point for professionals, policymakers, and technology providers from both countries.
Located in Hall 2, booth 2F61, the Pavilion will feature the following participating organisations:

On Tuesday, 27 January, from 19:05 to 19:40 at the Orange stage (Hall 2). The session is titled: Waste2Resources (Digital) waste management and clean tech innovations to a catalyst to a safe circular economy.
On Wednesday, 28 January, from 18:00 to 18:25 at the Blue stage (Hall 4). This session is titled: from water stress to water security. Innovative treatment solutions.
Join us on 28 January, from 12:00 to 15:00, at IFAT – Orange Stage, Hall 2, for a jointly organized workshop by the National Water Company (NWC), the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Riyadh, and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP).
The workshop will be moderated by Mirjam van Buchem (NWP) and will open with welcome remarks from the Embassy of the Netherlands and National Water Company.
