NWP Member Meetup at Deltares

After this event, Friday the 13th will be your lucky day! NWP and Deltares organise a Member Meetup at Deltares' Headquarters in Delft on Friday 13 December for NWP members. We will talk about the theme ‘water & conflict’ and address business opportunities for the Dutch water sector. Attendees will also get a private tour of Deltares' facilities (a must-do if you haven’t seen the Delta Flume yet!) and there will be plenty of room to expand your network over drinks.

14:10-14:20 Presentation by Deltares

14:20-15:30 Discussion on the involvement of the Dutch water sector active on theme ‘water & conflict’ by means of 3 current, promising cases.

14:20-14:40 Short pitches about the 3 cases:

Case 1 - Deltares on the application of social media during disasters
Case 2 - DSS water on the global deployment of Dutch water experts
Case 3 - Water Youth Network and NWP on the business opportunities linked to ‘water & conflict’

14:40-15:05 Round 1 (choice of first case)
15:05-15:30 Round 2 (choice of second case)

15:30-16:30 Tour of Deltares (a.o. visit of the unique Delta Flume test facility)
