Join us for NWP's upcoming Member Meet-up on 2 July 2026
NWP invites its members to join the next Member Meet-up on Thursday, 2 July 2026, in The Hague. The gathering offers an opportunity to reconnect with peers, exchange ideas and explore new collaborations across the water sector.
At the Meet-up, we are pleased to welcome Henk Ovink, Executive Director of the Global Commission on the Economics of Water. He will discuss the findings of the report 'The Economics of Water: Valuing the Hydrological Cycle as a Global Common Good'' and explore what these findings mean for you and how to act on them. We will discuss the global water cycle crisis, its relevance to our economies and environments, and how we can reset our relationship with the hydrological cycle to support sustainable and equitable water futures. This Meet-up offers you, as a member, the opportunity to discuss the implications of the report - and how to take collective action - with other representatives of the Dutch water sector.
The programme will continue with a contribution from Liliane Geerling, Programme Coordinator at Partners for Water, who will share the latest developments surrounding the UN Water Conference and discuss potential opportunities for participation by the Dutch water sector within the Netherlands Pavilion. This session will conclude with 10 minutes for questions.
Participants will also have the opportunity to catch up with colleagues from other organisations, welcome new members, reflect on recent challenges and achievements, and look ahead to upcoming initiatives and events.
