During the virtual mission participants will learn more about the developments, opportunities and expertise regarding water management. The focus is mainly on flood management and making cities resilient to climate change. Changing climate has a major impact on water systems in India. The country is increasingly dealing with the effects of extreme weather, such as floods and drought. In 2030, the demand for water in India will be double the supply.
Together with the Embassy and Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in India, NWP is organising different webinars during the virtual mission.
