Celebrating the new NWP office big

The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) has a new office and on 14 February 2023, we officially opened its doors surrounded by the NWP network.

I had the opportunity to meet with many of you, and as the new Director of NWP, I truly appreciate your interest in getting to know the talented team running the day-to-day work at NWP, and the activities that we are designing for you and your fellows.”

Information fair

The official opening included an Office Tour where attendees were able to take a closer look at the new facilities while visiting an information fair consisting of several displays dedicated to the projects and programmes that the NWP team is working on. NWP colleagues managing these activities, provided more background information and the possible relevance for the network.

Third time lucky

At the founding of NWP in 1999, we called the city of Delft our home. In 2009, it was time to be closer to the governmental heart of the Netherlands, and so we moved to The Hague, where we established the International Water House. After 13 prosperous years, an opportunity to have a more fit-for purpose office space for our one-on-one meet-ups, activities and events came across our path and we could not let it pass by.

The new NWP office is a place where we:

support meet-ups and engagements by connecting our network;
create business opportunities by sharing knowledge and opportunities; and,
facilitate our strong community of water professionals by getting them involved in relevant activities.
