Reuse of industrial waste water and water efficiency is high on the agenda at IFAT Africa. It is the ideal location to meet local organisations in the food and drink technology and to talk business. Within the framework of the Partners for Water Programme, NWP is organising a joint Dutch delegation at IFAT Africa in close cooperation with the Dutch Embassy in Pretoria. 5 reasons to join the Dutch delegation

1. South Africa is getting dryer and needs to invest in alternative water supply urgently. A 40% gap between water demand and water supply is projected by 2030, and most likely earlier. There is a major need and potential for industries to invest in water efficiency and water re-use now, before the taps run dry. Water quality challenges are also enormous.
2. IFAT is the number one water industry trade fair in South Africa in Johannesburg, the economic heart of South Africa. The proximity of the capital makes it easy for IFAT to attract key decision makers from business and government to the conference. 
3. 1-on-1 matchmaking for your company. All participants will be linked to a local consultant with a large network in the food and drinking water technology sector and technical knowledge about water efficiency and re-use. Individual meetings will be organised to exchange your ideas with local organisations to gain new knowledge on local challenges and meet partners.
4. NWP facilitates together with the Netherlands Embassy of Pretoria a Holland Pavilion to put water efficiency and the re-use of industrial waste water high on the agenda. A roundtable on how to finance solutions for industries to use less water and use water more efficiently will be facilitated by the Netherlands.
5. The Food and Beverage Industry, a major potential client for water efficiency and re-use, will host a trade fair at the same location as IFAT, thus enabling companies to directly liaise with possible costumers for water efficiency and re-using solutions. 

As Africa is getting dryer, it is time to co-create solutions for water efficiency.
