NWP appoints Esat Akkaya and Martijn van de Groep as new members of the Supervisory Board

New Supervisory Board member Martijn van de Groep is a senior policy advisor and project manager on integrated water resources management, agriculture transformation, transportation, and climate change adaptation. He gained international working experience in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Martijn states: ‘'I am genuinely enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my expertise and unwavering dedication to the Supervisory Board. I look forward to collaborating with a team of esteemed professionals dedicated to driving meaningful change.”

New member Esat Akkaya currently works as a business controller CO₂ Transport & Storage Systems at Energie Beheer Nederland and previously worked at Arcadis for quite some time. He explains that ''having not worked in the water sector for a few years, I truly missed working with people with a passion for water. As a new member of NWP’s Supervisory Board, I hope to contribute to our great Dutch water sector and support NWP in promoting and serving the interests and needs of the Dutch water sector in the Netherlands and abroad.”
