NWP’s Social Annual Report 2023 is out now!
The year 2023, which was brimming with numerous activities and significant milestones, was truly remarkable for the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). Another 20 organisations joined the NWP membership network, making NWP the largest and most diverse international water network in the Netherlands. Another highlight was the 10th anniversary celebration of YEP Programmes, which is coordinated by NWP, with over 250 attendees, reflecting its impact on the Netherlands’ international policy and the Sustainable Development Goals. The newly released ‘Social Annual Report 2023’ gives a clear and comprehensive overview of NWP’s activities and achievements throughout the year.
Share, Connect, and Involve
The ‘share, connect, and involve’ philosophy that NWP has promoted over the last five years was once again put into practice in 2023, ensuring that Dutch water knowledge and skills were brought in when and where they were needed.
NWP congratulates all its members, employees, and the wider Dutch water sector on their collective achievements and on expanding their global footprint. While striving to keep the Social Annual Report concise, the volume of activities exceeded expectations.
NWP Director and Board member Rick Elmendorp stated: “Of course, there is still a long road ahead of us with all the climate challenges the world is facing, but as long as we keep working on making an impact as individuals, organisations, networks, and coalitions, there is hope!”
