We are delighted to invite NWP members and special invitees to Waterpoort, the strategic networking event where the Dutch water sector engages with government representatives to explore the future of water on the international stage. Please note: this event will be held in Dutch.

Shaping the future of water internationally

Organised by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), this edition of Waterpoort brings together businesses, knowledge institutions, and civil society organisations with policymakers and politicians who can drive change. Together, we will explore how the Netherlands can strengthen its international water profile and unlock the full economic potential of the sector.

This meeting is specifically aimed at connecting NWP members with executives and policymakers from governmental organisations working on water, environment, international trade, and innovation, as well as Members of the Dutch Parliament, Members of the European Parliament, and their political advisors.

Waterpoort is an initiative of the Dutch Water Authorities (Unie van Waterschappen) and Vewin. This special edition is organised by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) for the Dutch water sector with international ambitions.

Water is a unifying factor across major societal challenges—such as climate change, food security, energy transition, nature preservation, spatial planning, and housing. These interconnected challenges are precisely why Waterpoort was established. Waterpoort provides a platform for debate on the role of water in addressing the pressing issues of our time.
