A collaborative online dialogue connecting Caribbean and Dutch water experts to tackle shared challenges together.

Across the Caribbean and other Small Island Developing States (SIDS), communities are innovating daily to secure freshwater, protect coastlines, and build climate resilience. The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP), in close collaboration with the Embassies and Consulates of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the region, invites you to a special Ask a Water Expert – Caribbean Edition 2025.

This highly interactive session brings together Caribbean practitioners, policymakers, and Dutch water specialists in an open exchange of experience and ideas — helping bridge knowledge, identify practical solutions, and strengthen regional cooperation.

Each breakout pairs Caribbean and Dutch experts to discuss real-world cases and answer participants’ questions, guided by NWP moderators.

Why this session?

Many organisations across the Caribbean and the Dutch Water Sector are already working on complementary initiatives — from coastal protection and nature-based design to water reuse and data systems. However, these efforts often happen separately. This live session offers a shared regional platform where experts and practitioners can connect, learn from each other, and develop new collaborations grounded in local realities and mutual respect.

It is also a way to reconnect with the community who joined the March and June events this year and would like to continue that conversation in a new, more interactive format.
