Trade fair
9 June 2026 - 10 June 2026 Hugo Junkers Hangar in Mönchengladbach, Germany
The Resilience Expo 2026 will take place in Germany on 10 June 2026, returning as the world’s first trade fair dedicated to products, technologies and services for climate change adaptation. Hosted in the striking setting of the Hugo Junkers Hangar in Mönchengladbach, the Expo brings together leading stakeholders from business, science, municipalities and government across Germany and Western Europe to shape the climate adaptation economy of the future. We warmly invite you to join this unique event and connect with experts and decision-makers driving innovation in climate resilience.
Now in its second edition, the Resilience Expo is fully supported by regional German authorities and forms part of the structural transformation programme of the Rhenish mining area. As a region in transition, it is developing into a leading competence hub for climate resilience.
The Expo is coordinated on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MUNV) and implemented by VDI Technologiezentrum GmbH, Prognos AG, Rebel Deutschland GmbH and CLIMATICON GmbH. It is funded by both federal and state resources.
With more than 60 exhibitors and an expected 500–1,000 visitors from both the public and private sectors, the Expo offers an excellent platform for networking, knowledge exchange and international collaboration. It also provides a strong opportunity to enhance the visibility of Dutch–German cooperation in climate adaptation.
The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and ROM Utrecht Region are once again co-hosting a focused Dutch mission, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Düsseldorf.
