Services

The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) enables the Dutch water sector have an even greater impact internationally. We do this through connecting expertise across sectors – primarily the water, food and energy sectors – linking water and maritime services, and bringing together practitioners from the various segments of the water sector for integrated action to tackle the global water challenges of the future.

NWP offers a range of services where its wide network is key to successful intervention outcomes. NWP offers services where a fertile, neutral forum for discussion can lead to innovation and opportunities for policy, research, and business alike. Its services benefit the entire water sector by linking knowledge supply with demand, and making a difference by promoting Dutch expertise and innovation in international markets where opportunities are greatest. NWP is the first port of call if you want to get in touch with the Dutch water sector to further your ambitions.

NWP works with strategic partners in the Netherlands and abroad to bring these services to fruition.

Programme Management

Given our diverse and strong network and recognition as a neutral and independent non-profit organisation in the water sector, NWP is well positioned to manage large and middle range subsidy programmes on behalf of government departments and embassies in partnership with specialised organisations. This includes drawing on sector-wide knowledge that supports conceptual programme design, managing programme implementation on behalf of partner organisations, involving appropriate water sector expertise, and sharing the achievements and lessons learnt in the wider network for future benefit.

Sector Collaboration

Sector collaboration is at the heart of NWP’s mission, and has been since NWP was established in 1999. Having built up a wide network in the complex Dutch and international water sector landscape, NWP brings diverse parties together that share a common goal to influence policy or research agendas, build business opportunities, or share knowledge and experience to facilitate the work of others. NWP works with strategic partners and acts as an agent between water sector organisations, and facilitates ‘matchmaking’ where organisations seek partners for their mission.

Market Intelligence

Through our strong ties with Dutch embassies, water sector organisations and businesses that operate in certain territories, NWP is able to bring together the right expertise to carry out market analyses tailored to specific requirements. This service is provided on request. In addition, NWP produces informative and scientifically grounded white papers on salient water related topics. We share important developments, urgent challenges and innovative solutions in the water sector and connect these to the work of Dutch water sector practitioners.

Trade missions and Events

In cooperation with our partners, NWP facilitates the Dutch water sector to take part in important trade fairs, conferences and events in the Netherlands and abroad. NWP prearranges opportunities at exhibitions, organises Netherlands Pavilions and Lounges, and uses its network to seek the right expertise and/or act as host at events. NWP also frequently hosts international delegations visiting the Netherlands, organises study tours, and facilitates Dutch delegations visiting other countries. It always ensures that the Dutch water sector is both aware of these events and benefits from them.
