Working at NWP?

NWP is all about fostering connection and collaboration across the Dutch water sector. Our colleagues are born networkers, which fits NWP's ethos of bringing together the right people and organisations, wherever they are. We maintain close relationships with our NWP members, strategic partners, and policymakers, and firmly believe that collaboration is essential to reaching our collective global goals.

Working at NWP means operating at the heart of global water challenges. And since there is a wide range of water challenges to be solved, no two days are alike at NWP. That is why we welcome colleagues who are willing and able to adapt to ever-changing situations.

Many of us travel regularly to host international events, accompany Dutch or international delegations, and ensure that our activities meet expectations. We travel responsibly, using public transport and carpooling as much as we can. We also work and meet in hybrid settings to stay connected with partners around the world. We see our office in The Hague as a collaborative space that we use to exchange ideas with NWP’s network. With an open office philosophy, casual meeting spaces, and formal meeting rooms, our facilities are also frequently used by visitors and members – a great way of bringing people together.

We are a small organisation with a global reach. We therefore foster an internationally minded workplace culture where diverse perspectives spark innovation and cross-border collaboration creates opportunities. We enjoy each other's company, work hard, like to laugh, and have a strong team spirit. We value versatility in our team members as well as openness, integrity and a good measure of energy and enthusiasm.
