Finance Internship
The Netherlands Water Partnership is looking for an motivated intern who would like to contribute to our vision of a Water.Driven.Future. by supporting our finance department. Our organisation
The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is the Dutch water sector’s network organisation. NWP has around 180 members, profit and non-profit organisations, from water technology to water infrastructure, NGO and government. Together with them, we focus on international collaboration to help solve global water challenges and ensure a sustainable and water-driven future.
As a network organisation, NWP offers a platform to entities that would otherwise not have met each other so quickly. We create visibility with and for the Dutch water sector, helping its members find and expand market opportunities through the projects, programmes, events, and activities that we initiate, facilitate, coordinate, and organise, often on international stages.
For 25 years, NWP has connected the world to the expertise and knowledge of the Dutch water sector.
Your role
The NWP Finance Team is seeking an Intern who can support the department with daily task such as:
- processing purchase invoices;
- managing accounts receivable;
- checking the financial inbox;
- checking colleagues' time registration;
- processing bank and credit card payments; and,
- assisting with monthly and quarterly closings.
Requirements
- MBO level 3 or 4.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English.

- An internship of 3-4 days a week with a duration of a minimum of 5 months.
- Internship allowance EUR 550 gross per month based on 40 hours.

Timeline considerations
- Ideal or approximate start: as soon as possible.
- The candidate should be able to work 24-32 hours weekly, excluding commuting time.
- NWP offers hybrid work arrangements and remote work for the summer period (July and August).
