Dutch water sector at Andesco Congress & Fair

The annual Andesco Congress and Fair will hold its 23rd edition from 12 to 15 October. Andesco, the Colombian National Association of Public Services and Communications, is the platform where decision-makers from the national, regional and local government levels meet their current and future providers in the water, waste and energy sector. This year, the Congress has selected the Netherlands as the guest country.

This new edition of the Andesco Congress and Fair will have a hybrid form and the digital participation of the Dutch water sector will be organised by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Colombia, Holland House Colombia and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). The water sector will be central in the Congress, and the link with related sub-sectors such as waste management, energy, ICT and the circular economy will be made explicitly.

A selection of promising topics to be addressed during the Congress:

Technological innovation in urban areas: water treatment installations and efficient water use.
Water provision in rural areas via decentralised systems.
Protection of water sources.
Improvement of quality and coverage of drinking water and wastewater treatment.
Climate adaptation.
Implementation of better monitoring and evaluation systems.
Innovative technologies, concepts and solutions for waste processing, sustainable energy, energy efficiency, hydrogen and circular construction.

Benefits of joining the Netherlands Pavilion:

Participation in the Dutch stand – fully equipped for optimal companies’ exposure. Corporate videos and product catalogues will be displayed for promotion.
Company’s presentation at the pre-Congress academic agenda.
Participation in the B2B matchmaking platform. Supported by NWP and Holland House Colombia, companies will be able to manage their matchmaking agenda and plan meetings with visitors and potential clients and/or partners.

This event is supported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) – MKB lounge subsidy.

The joint representation of the Dutch water sector will go ahead if there is sufficient interest, with a maximum of 10 Dutch companies. Participation fee: EUR 500.
