IFAT India, the leading trade fare of water, sewage, solid waste and recycling in India, will be held from 14 to 16 October at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.
To promote Dutch water expertise in this promising market, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) collaborates with the Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mumbai, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) for the organisation of a Netherlands Pavilion and a 2,5 day programme that includes stage opportunities, onsite matchmaking, and a network reception.
The event will be followed by a trip coordinated by RVO and the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management to Delhi for the opening of the Center of Excellence on Water, in cooperation with the National Mission Clean Ganga.
About IFAT India
IFAT India consists of a trade fair focusing on new technology, knowledge and practical applications for the entire water and waste cycle. The event also includes a comprehensive conference programme, where industry experts exchange insights on current environmental issues and trends.
IFAT India brings together policymakers from local and regional governments, utility managers and operators, technology manufacturers, consulting engineers and researchers from knowledge institutions. In 2024, IFAT India celebrated its 11th edition with over 400 exhibiting companies and six international pavilions, including a Netherlands Pavilion. The trade show attracted some 17,000 visitors over three days.
India is developing into a promising market for environmental technologies. The Indian Government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (Clean India Mission) is one of the key drivers for the growth of the water sector in India. The strong policy focus on this country-wide campaign has led to active contributions from companies, institutions and civil society.
To promote Dutch water expertise at IFAT India, NWP intends to organise a 2,5 day programme focused on facilitating Dutch participants to gain insights into local and regional needs; positioning the knowledge and expertise of the Dutch water sector on the Indian market; and, establishing concrete connections with local and regional stakeholders.
Participation in the collective programme costs € 2,500.- (ex. VAT) and includes:
Representation of the Dutch Water Sector in the event
Stage opportunities
Network reception

Participation in the Netherlands Pavilion at IFAT India 2025 is open to 1 or more persons per organisation. For each additional person, there is an extra fee of € 250.- per person (excluding VAT).
