The Wetsus Congress 2023, organised by Wetsus, will take place at the Harmonie in Leeuwarden on 9 and 10 October. Every year the Wetsus Congress brings together keynote speakers from government, industry, and science to share knowledge on the latest water technology. This year's theme is ‘Environmental Resilience to Novel Entities’. The plenary sessions on Monday 9 October will address the topic of Environmental Resilience to Novel Entities in an international context and from the perspective of sustainable innovation. Tuesday 10 October is dedicated to science and the 12 parallel sessions are based on Wetsus' scientific programme. In addition to the knowledge sessions, there will be an exhibition floor. The TKI Water Technology Programme will be present with a booth at the Congress.
The TKI Water Technology Programme was set up to help entrepreneurs and innovators find their way through the Dutch knowledge and innovation landscape. Entrepreneurs and innovators sometimes experience difficulties in launching their innovations on the market. Some of the standard questions they ask include: what types of financing are available? Where are the market opportunities? What institutions and instruments can help me bring my innovation to the next level? The TKI can share information about financing opportunities and can connect you to knowledge institutes and other SMEs. TKI Innovation Brokers targets companies that offer solutions for specific challenges in the agriculture, food, and horticulture sectors, companies operating in the field of energy, and companies working in the field of clean and healthy water.
TKI Innovation Brokers is part of the TKI Water Technology of the Top Sector Water and Maritime (TSWM). The initiative is implemented as part of a joint-collaboration between the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) and Water Alliance
