Connecting visual storytelling with research and science
Have you ever wondered how academics and knowledge experts, working on water issues, can benefit from art and storytelling to increase their impact? We invited Roger Anis, a photo journalist focusing on water, and prof. Emanuele Fantini, senior lecturer from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, to share their experience about #EverdayNileproject, which connects art with knowledge about water issues.
Customised meetings for sub-segmented NWP member groups
In tune with our role as an enabler, NWP is always looking for new ways to meet the needs of the various member groups of NWP. As part of this principle, the the Business Relations Management (BRM) team organises customised small-scale get-togethers for specific sub-segments of the NWP member base. For example, the Training Trajectory for small and medium sized enterprises is already in place, as is the NWP NGO Water platform. To bring together academics and water experts, the meeting on 10 May is the first in a series of meetings that will be planned for research and knowledge institutes.
