To support and facilitate cooperation between the Dutch water sector and Poland, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) has commissioned SWECO to conduct a Market Quickscan. The results will be presented by SWECO on Tuesday, 16 February.
NWP enables cooperation between the Dutch water sector and Poland under the framework of the Partners for Water Programme. In recent years, NWP support has largely been on activities related to establishing and nurturing a strong G2G relationship, developing Polish-Dutch partnerships, and contributing to bilateral water cooperation in the European context.
Over the past years, the main focus has been on the following sub-sectors:
Climate adaptation in urban areas.
Inland waterways and river management.
Droughts and efficient use of water.
Water technology in combination with drinking water supply, wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
Quick market scan
Against the backdrop of internal governmental changes in the aftermath of the Polish national elections, Covid-19, and the new EU Green Deal, NWP has commissioned SWECO to carry out a quick market scan as a means of updating NWP's approach on the Polish water market and identifying potential new, or changing, opportunities for future cooperation with Poland. The results of this scan will be revealed during an online session.
