27 October 2021A delegation representing the water supply/wastewater utility of the Municipality of Naucalpan in Mexico will visit the Dutch water sector during Aquatech Amsterdam. They are preparing an international tender in 2022 and will present more information during a session on 2 November from 11:00-11:30 at the Netherlands Pavilion. Anyone interested in the Mexican water industry is welcome to join the session.
Representatives from Mexico
Representatives of the city of Naucalpan in Mexico, the National association of Water utilities and sanitation of Mexico (ANEAS) and BANOBRAS (Mexican Development Bank) will be visiting the Netherlands from 1 till 5 November. They are interested in getting information about water supply as well as wastewater treatment to see if some technology can be applied in Mexico to improve their systems.
Tender information presented at Aquatech Amsterdam
Roger Peniche, Principal Advisor for Sustainable Development and Climate Change of the City of Naucalpan will present the Hondo River project that consists of a tender in 2022 on WWTP in a PPP scheme. The Mexican delegation would like to invite Dutch companies to participate in this tender for the design, construction, operation and maintenance for 20 years of 12 kilometres of marginal collectors, 4 WWTP (at least 463 lps) and 10 kilometres of purple line. This project will engage funds from Invest International (former FMO) and thus might constitute the first joint Mexican-Dutch investment on this theme.
