The Sultanate of Oman is facing multiple challenges in the field of water. The Netherlands and the Omani Government work closely together to overcome these challenges. If you are interested in business opportunities in Oman, join the webinar which will take place in October. The date will be announced soon.
While bilateral cooperation between Oman and the Netherlands has been ongoing for many years, cooperation was intensified in 2017 when the Strategic Oman Netherlands Taskforce on Water was established, with the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) as Secretary. Since then, there have been numerous successful follow-up meetings and exchanges of ideas and recommendations. The cooperation is continuing and is offering new opportunities for the Dutch water sector.
Oman is seeking Dutch water expertise
Within the Taskforce, there is close cooperation with the Oman Water & Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC). OWWSC procures various water related goods, work and services and is interested in working more closely with the Dutch water sector.
Nama Water Services, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Oman, and the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) will host a webinar with the objective to inform the Dutch water sector about business opportunities in Oman and the process of registration for tenders. Organisations interested in doing business in Oman are invited to attend, free of charge.
During the online session you will learn about Oman, its water and wastewater sector, and opportunities for Dutch companies interested in working with OWWSC in Oman. OWWSC will present their current projects, future plans and explain the process of registration for Dutch companies to participate in their tenders.
