The Dutch water sector has been active and successful in the Philippines for many years. A number of Dutch Risk Reduction Team (DRR-Team) missions have taken place since 2013 at the request of the Philippine Government, in which the Dutch bilateral cooperation on water has also been strengthened. The Dutch support through the Partners for Water programme focuses on integrated coastal zone management, safe urban deltas and improving water quality.
Sector parties who are active or interested in the Philippines can meet and share knowledge during the meeting.
