Water cooperation in Lebanon: where do we go from here?

More than one and a half year ago the NWP assessed the interest from the water sector in Lebanon through a sector scan. This was done as part of the 'Strengthening Lebanese Water and Agriculture sector' programme of the Acacia Water, World Waternet and Wageningen Research (WUR) consortium.

An important part of this programme was the experience Support Facility: A budget in which several Dutch companies with water and agricultural expertise were involved in missions in Lebanon.

Since this program is drawing to a close, we would like to take stock of the results. Would you like to take part in planning the sequel? Then please fill in this questionnaire.

NWP still sees many opportunities for the Dutch water sector to assist Lebanon in facing the many water challenges. There is a reason why Lebanon is one of the new focus countries in the new foreign policy of the Dutch Government. The Lebanon programme and the Expertise Support Facility had done excellent groundwork, and we would like to extend it.

In short, are you are interested in Lebanon? Then please join us in thinking how we could bring the cooperation a step further and complete this questionnaire (it will not take more than 5 minutes). We look forward to discuss how we can capitalise on the opportunities in this country with you and other Lebanon-interested parties.
