18 October 2018Parties that are active in fields such as Geo-data, water governance, crop efficiency, data collection, IT & water management can sign up for a Water Efficiency workshop for the MENA region on 8 November. The focus of the workshop is on Water Efficiency, Water Accounting, and the water agriculture Nexus in the MENA region, with a special focus on Egypt.
During the workshop days Partners for Water executives NWP and RVO.nl will challenge sector parties to share the solutions for countries facing (periodic) water scarcity that are available from the Dutch water sector with each other. What is required in order to use the available water as efficiently as possible and distribute it across sectors, cities and urban areas? During matchmaking sessions you can specify with which parties and with regard to which themes you potentially want to work together. Moreover, we will jointly explore what opportunities are available to set up projects and activities. RVO.nl shares information about available funding instruments for activities in these countries and regarding these themes.
If you are you interested in participating in the workshop, please send an email to Sabrina Doetjes before 7 November, s.doetjes@nwp.nl.
Date: 8 November between 12:30 and 16:00 hours (including lunch)
Location: New Babylon Meeting Center (a 5-minute walk from CS The Hague / parking at Q Park CS New Babylon)
