Aquatech Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade event for the international water sector, takes place from 6-9 November 2023 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Together with a number of other partners, the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is coordinating the visit of multiple incoming delegations. Dutch companies, knowledge institutes and NGO’s are invited to attend the programme and connect with the incoming delegation members.
Aquatech Amsterdam attracts over 20,000 attendees, of which more than 70% comes from outside the Netherlands. The visiting water professionals stem from all over the world and they are active as policymakers, operators, specialists, and users of technology in practice. They gather for four days of lively networking and doing business.

NWP and partners offer Dutch companies and organisations the chance to connect with the incoming delegation members one-on-one and promote their expertise and/or solutions by participating in the extensive incoming mission programme. We are expecting delegations from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and the USA. Visits of the following country delegations have already been confirmed:

By organising these delegation visits in a coherent incoming mission programme, we offer Dutch organisations a unique opportunity to connect with the delegation members, and a guaranteed chance of qualitative matches. We encourage Dutch participants in the programme to contact us with ideas for sessions or topics that you would like to profile to incoming delegations. We will do our utmost to include your suggestion in the programming.
The daily programme for incoming delegations
The programme includes, amongst others:
Daily welcome ceremony to start the day at the Netherlands Pavilion, including a pitch talk by each of the delegation leaders about what they are looking for
Round-table sessions on specific topics hosted by Dutch organisations (lunch is included)
Exhibition tours visiting the Netherlands Pavilion and other Dutch exhibitors at Aquatech
Dutch Double Dates (support in matchmaking)
Attending the networking reception at the Netherlands Pavilion
Optional: Site visits to your company or organisation (on Friday 10 November)
If you sign up to participate in the programme for incoming delegations, you will receive regular updates about the delegation members and programming, such as matchmaking activities and the renowned networking reception at the Netherlands Pavilion.
You will be offered unique access to the delegation members, including the chance to host a round-table session, plus the opportunity to request a meeting with a specific delegation.
On top of that, participants are promoted beforehand to the incoming delegations, which increases international brand awareness and opportunities for making new connections.
Dutch organisations that do not participate in the Netherlands Pavilion but have their own booth at Aquatech can sign up for € 1,000.00 ex. VAT.
Dutch organisations without a booth at Aquatech Amsterdam can sign up for € 1,200.00 ex. VAT.
Participants in the Netherlands Pavilion automatically participate in the incoming mission programme as part of their stand package, without additional costs.
Per participant, a maximum of 2 persons can attend the 4-day programme. Each participant is offered the opportunity to host a maximum of 2 round table sessions on a topic of their choice. Lunch is included. T, travel and other expenses are excluded.
The members of the incoming delegations are presented with a programme of round table sessions. Registered participants are offered the chance to host one (or more) of those roundtable sessions and present their topic (and expertise) to the delegation members. For participants, this means you will open the round table session with a short introduction, and you will lead the subsequent discussion.
Round tables are held daily between 12:00-14:00 and hosting a round table session will take 20-50 minutes of your time, depending on your preference. You can indicate this in the registration form.
About the incoming delegations programme
The incoming delegations programme is coordinated by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP). It is a joint organisational effort by NWP, and partners: Aquatech organising team at RAI Amsterdam, Enterprise Europe Network, Netherlands Enterprise Agency, and Water Alliance.
The incoming delegations progamme is supported by the Topsector Water & Maritime through the SBP programme of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. It is also supported by the WTEX10 programme, which is an initiative of the Dutch government, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, and Top Sector Water & Maritime in cooperation with Water Alliance and NWP.
