2025 was a year of meaningful collaboration, international engagement and growing impact for the Dutch water sector. With its members and partners, NWP continued to strengthen the sector’s global positioning by connecting expertise, fostering international partnerships and helping shape policy agendas.
The NWP ‘Annual Report 2025’ highlights a year filled with international missions, knowledge exchange programmes, policy engagement and sector promotion. From a strong presence at Aquatech Amsterdam to successful missions in Kenya and Indonesia, NWP brought Dutch water expertise to audiences around the world. Through knowledge exchange programmes organised with partners such as the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, professionals from Africa, Asia and Europe came together to share experiences, explore solutions and strengthen cooperation. Throughout the year, NWP remained at the centre of a wide range of activities, connecting businesses, governments, knowledge institutes and international organisations, while creating new opportunities for the Dutch water sector to make a global impact.
Strengthening the sector’s voice
Policy engagement remained a key priority in 2025. Through strategic dialogues and advocacy efforts, NWP helped ensure that the ambitions and innovations of the Dutch water sector were reflected more prominently in national and international policy discussions. This growing recognition highlights the value of a strong and united sector voice.
Connecting expertise, creating opportunities
As always, NWP continued to act as a trusted connector between the public sector, private sector, knowledge institutes, and international stakeholders. Whether through matchmaking, missions, market insights, training programmes, or knowledge exchange, our focus continued to be on creating opportunities for our members and partners.
