“The private sector is not just an instrument, but is an important player in partnerships to counter climate and water crises in the Middle East,” says Ruben Vermeer of NWP. This was the main takeaway at NWP’s ‘Private Sector & Conflict-sensitive Climate Adaptation in the Middle East’ workshop on Wednesday 20 February at the Planetary Security Conference in The Hague.
In his vlog, Ruben looks back and shares an impression of the workshop. With a special thank you to our NWP members Susanne Schmeier (IHE Delft and Water, Peace and Security Partnership) for moderating and Arjen de Vries (Acacia Water) and Yousef Yousef (LG Sonic) for being part of the panel.
