Representatives from Cape Town and Durban (South Africa) and the cities' main universities are in the Netherlands at the invitation of the Dutch Embassy in Pretoria, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) and NWP on behalf of the Dutch Government's Partners for Water programme.
Programma
The subject of the visit is the triple helix model of innovation. On Friday 19 October the visit will conclude with a sector meeting at which Durban and Cape Town city representatives will explain the ambitions of their cities and present several large (PPP) projects, including the proposed cooperation with parties in the Netherlands. After the presentations the programme allows time for individual speed-dating sessions to explore potential matches between innovative Dutch technologies and services and the significant challenges facing the cities.
Sector Meeting
If your company has an innovative technology that can be applied to urban water management in South Africa, or if you would like to meet South African municipal and university representatives, register to attend the sector meeting.
